Compare two LaTeX versions

Upload the old and new .tex files (or project .zip archives) to get a PDF with additions and deletions marked (powered by latexdiff). Your files are never stored.

Old version - drag a .tex or project .zip here or click. Max 5 MB (.tex) / 10 MB (.zip).

New version - drag a .tex or project .zip here or click. Max 5 MB (.tex) / 10 MB (.zip).

Changes inside tables are shown in final form only (not marked). Files are never written to disk.

How to compare two LaTeX versions online

  1. Upload your old and new versions - either a plain .tex file (up to 5 MB) or a project .zip with main.tex at the root (up to 10 MB).
  2. Choose an engine and, optionally, tick the color legend.
  3. Click Generate diff PDF. Additions appear blue and underlined; deletions appear red and struck through.

About this tool

This runs latexdiff with table-safe defaults, then compiles the result. Added text is blue and underlined; deleted text is red and struck through. Upload plain .tex files or full project .zip archives.

Are my files stored?
No. Both files are processed in an ephemeral container and discarded immediately.
Can I diff a project with figures?
Yes. Zip each version with main.tex at the root and upload the .zip files. The new version's assets (figures, styles) are used for compilation so the output PDF renders correctly.
Why aren't changes inside my tables marked?
Tables are treated as opaque blocks to prevent column-alignment corruption. Edited tables appear in their final form only.
