Circled Hoops
Circled Hoops is free weekly fantasy basketball. You set eight starters and circle one game for each, and only the circled games count.
The iPhone app is in App Store review. The web version works on a phone or a computer.
How a week works
Each week you pick eight starters from your roster. For each starter you circle one of that player's games, and only that game counts toward your score. A player's other games that week do not count.
So the number of games a player has in a week no longer decides it. The skill is picking the right night: avoiding the second game of a back-to-back, taking the game after a rest night, or circling a matchup against a slow defense.

What every league gets
Live drafts
Snake and auction drafts run live. Each manager can keep a draft queue, and autopick drafts for anyone who steps away.
Trades
Trades go through a league vote or commissioner review, whichever the league chooses.
Waivers and IR
Free agents are claimed with FAAB bids, and injured players can go on injured reserve.
Dynasty leagues
Keep your roster from one season to the next, with a rookie draft each year.
Median scoring
A league can turn on median scoring, so each week also counts against the league median.
League chat
Each league has its own chat, and a recap of the week is posted there every Monday.
Bots that play well
Bots fill empty teams, so a league can start before everyone has joined. They draft and manage their teams well, and a friend can take over a bot's team later.
Reminders
Reminders arrive as push notifications or email.
Bench backups
Set a backup on your bench. If a starter sits out, the backup's game counts instead.
Auto-set
Auto-set fills in your lineup for a week you would rather not set by hand.
What it costs
Every feature is free for every league. The iPhone app shows one small banner, and an optional Ad-free subscription at $0.99 a month removes it. There is no betting, and no money changes hands in leagues.
