Outbound Veil
$29 on its own
A menu-bar app that checks what you type for names, numbers and addresses before you send it. It runs on your Mac and stores nothing. Useful before you paste client or patient details into a chatbot or an email.
Vitae Plus, for life
$24 a year on its own
Vitae keeps your submissions, grants, projects and CV in one place, and it is free. Plus adds reports, Word export with your own templates, the revision workspace, Shareables and more. Here it is a lifetime key that never renews.

One page, three things
Checkout sends you to a page with the ModernTex and Outbound Veil downloads and your Vitae Plus key. We email the same link, so you can come back any time.
Two keys, no accounts
The email also carries your ModernTex license key. In Vitae, open Settings, then Vitae Plus, paste the Plus key and click Activate. Outbound Veil needs no key: the download is the full app.
They update themselves
ModernTex and Outbound Veil check for new versions and install them in place. Vitae does too. Lose an email later? Find a purchase sends everything again.
Questions
What does “for life” mean for Vitae Plus?
The key you get is valid for 100 years and never asks to renew, and Plus stays unlocked for as long as Purplelink offers Vitae Plus. If Plus is ever discontinued, we will say so first, and the key keeps working in the version of Vitae you have.
Do I need the Suite to use Vitae?
No. Vitae is free, with all core record-keeping and no limits. Plus is the optional paid layer on top, and the Suite includes it for life.
Will I get future updates?
Yes. Every ModernTex and Outbound Veil update is included forever, including future major versions, and Vitae updates as they come.
Can I try them first?
Yes. ModernTex and Outbound Veil each have a free 7-day trial, and Vitae is free. After you buy, you install the full copy from your download page.
What is the refund policy?
Email ben@purplelink.llc within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the full $39 to the original payment method, with no reason needed. A refunded Suite's ModernTex license key and Vitae Plus key are no longer licensed for use.
Which Macs does it run on?
ModernTex and Outbound Veil need macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. Vitae needs macOS 15 or later. There is no Windows or iPhone version.
Does Outbound Veil send my text anywhere?
No. The checking runs on your Mac, nothing you type is stored or sent, and the app has no analytics. Its page lists the apps it has been tested in.
