Ball Lab
Drop balls, flip gravity, hold a magnet, set them off. Every collision plays a note. The same kind of physics as the Ball Bouncer videos, in your hands.
How to play
Sandbox: tap or click the canvas to drop balls. Flip gravity sends everything to the ceiling. Turn on Magnet and drag to pull the balls toward your finger. Boom blasts them outward from the middle. Big balls play low notes and small ones play high notes.
Polyrhythm: nine balls bounce at slightly different speeds, one more bounce each, and all land together once every 40 seconds. Watch the countdown, and listen for the chord when they realign.
Questions
What is Ball Lab?
A free physics toy that runs in your browser. Tap to drop glowing balls, flip gravity, hold a magnet, shake or explode them, and every collision plays a note. There is also a polyrhythm mode where nine balls bounce at slightly different rates and all land together every 40 seconds.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in the page on a phone, tablet or computer, with no account and nothing to install.
Is it free?
Yes. Ball Lab is free to play.
Where do the simulations in the videos come from?
From Ball Bouncer, which posts a new procedurally generated ball-physics simulation every day on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Ball Lab lets you play with the same kind of physics yourself.
Can you make a ball simulation for my brand?
Yes. Ball Bouncer makes custom clips built around a logo, colors and game theme, at a flat price per clip. See the Ball Bouncer page and send a short brief.
